Some news from Motley.com about "Too Fast For Love"
RELEASE DATE: July 22nd
LP + Bonus 7" edition limited to 5000 individually numbered copies.
Back in 1981, a young Mötley Crüe visited the PRC (Philips Recording Company) pressing plant in Dominguez Hills, California, to greet the staff and thank them for making their records. They also hoped to wheedle a few boxes out in advance of payment, since their Leathür Records debut, Too Fast For Love, was flying off the shelves of local record stores and at shows, putting them in a cash-flow crunch. The band was greeted warmly, but left sans albums, until later in the day, when their manager brought in a check.
The disc sold an incredible 20,000 on that initial run, before it was picked up by Elektra Records and remixed. The original mix has been unavailable on vinyl for over twenty years…until now. Lovingly reproduced sonically and visually, Too Fast For Love returns on the 12-inch black vinyl that launched a million Crüe fans.
But wait! That’s not all. As a special added bonus, the “Stick To Your Guns”/”Toast Of The Town” 7-inch single is included in every album. Nikki, Tommy, Vince, and Mick return to those thrilling days of yesteryear when The Starwood and KNAC Radio ruled!

Thanx.. I try to please! :wink: I'll try to keep this section updated as much as poss for all you Sixx fans.No new news on "The Dirt" movie... Nikki's book "The Herion Diaries" is now due for release sometime in the Autumn.. (Fall to our bretheren in the Americas).. probably October/November.

Seems to be the more likely of the two, considering the Xmas market, but should know for definite soon.Pre ordering thru Amazon..or Swagrox...which even for us in the UK is an absolutely awesome place to get Nikki/Crue merch. Have bought a few things from there already

Douglas Maher - All Headline News Staff Reporter
New York, NY (AHN) - Upcoming tours for the winter months of 2005 and 2006 were revealed at the International Assn. of Assembly Managers (IAAM) conference in Washington, D.C. this past week.
Rock bands such as AC/DC, Def Leppard, and Motley Crue are penciled in for brand new dates which will be released sometime in the next 2 months.
All 3 bands will be focusing mainly on arena tours as well as taking out big name acts on the road with them.
Other bands expected towards the end of 2005 and through 2006 include Porcupine Tree, Dream Theater, Rush, Godsmack, Korn, and Dave Matthews Band with a slew of fall and early winter dates for the jam band
The Carnival Of Sins Tour dvd is slated for release in October sometime... so all you who haven't managed to get along to see the Crue in action yet... get your hands on this :twisted:

:lol: well he certainly USED to cut his own hair... that's why it was so wild for the first few albums :wink: Word over at Motley.com from those who saw them the night before last is that they totally rocked.. Mick is playing better than ever.. Nikki has a couple of new shirts and his hair is spikier... so been playing with the scissors again no doubt :twisted:
