OMG....

Izzyjim---you said this was shown on MTV back in the late 80s...do you know if this is the same gig that was shown right after Axl & Slash hosted Headbangers Ball?  I think it was the first time they had hosted it.  It was shown right when they were first starting to get big.  Is this that same one?  I had taped it when it was on, but lost the tape years ago.  I've been dying to see it again!!!  If I remember right Axl jumped out in the crowd during Rocket Queen.

BTW--Are those downloads audio or video?

I believe it is Hoochie, becuase MTV had only this show so yeah, I think it's the same one.

Some info from Guns N' Roses On Tour

02.02.88 - The Ritz, New York, NY
set: It's So Easy, Mr. Brownstone, Out Ta Get Me, Sweet Child O' Mine, My Michelle, Knockin' On Heaven's Door, Welcome To The Jungle, Nightrain, Paradise City, Mama Kin, Rocket Queen
audio/video recording?: video [pro-shot], audio
notes: This show was an MTV special, also broadcast on many FM stations. GN'R were on the same bill as Great White. A full video feed of this exists. Slash stage dives after 'Rocket Queen!'

Well, to answer the audio/video question, it's audio. The quality isn't bad considering it was 1988. I'd give the sound 7/10, or so. Depending on how you rate bootlegs. It's soundboard, just really old.

Could someone explain me why they cut Mamma Kin from that list.....
I have a video of Mamma Kin but the video and sound quality arenīt even close to the other songs....

I have that concert on audio too and Mamma Kin sounds normal, just like the others... So, where that version came from, or where is the "good" version of the video?
