pickup time

I'll keep this short & sweet.  Does anyone know when Duff started using the Seymour duncan pickup in his bass?  That's all

The original white Fender Jazz Bass Special still has the factory Fender pick-ups in it.  The Seymore Duncans are on the basses Fender made for Duff somewhere after AFD and before the release of the UYI albums. Weather they came installed from the Fender factory or put in after he received his new basses is something I don't know and/or haven't read about.
