Rotosound string question for Duff and McBob

Hello gentlemen!!  Duff, I've been a huge fan of yours for many years.  Appetite For Destruction was the album that I learned to play bass to.  Anyway, I know that you've been a Rotosound endorser from day one.  In the early 1990's you used a Rotosound set called "Spacer" that was black with different colored silk wrappings.  I used to love those strings!  Why did Rotosound stop making them?  They should have continued them as your signature set.  I always thought they sounded much better than the standard RS66LD Swing Bass sets and looked cooler too!  Thnaks for your time guys!

Those Spacer strings haven't been around for a while now. They look cool but
the RS66LD's work just fine and are gonna be the closest you're gonna get.
